Can a roller rink operator pop up with Morguard? Great question! Specialty Leasing at Morguard specializes in short-term leasing of commercial spaces within shopping centres...but no one would expect this to be possible. Sometimes, we come across unique requests, such as the one we are about to share with you.

Have you ever heard of SUSO Skate Co? If you haven’t, it’s a touring roller rink experience that has popped up in some of the most unique spaces, most recently at Cambridge Centre. Their vision to create good vibes and memorable moments came to life in the former Cambridge Ice Centre from May to September.

The unused ice-skating rink was the perfect location for a roller-skating rink. SUSO Skate turned it into a functional roller rink complete with a DJ booth, disco balls and more! Now that their pop-up is over, they wanted to find another space to host their next appearance. And we were able to deliver again! We helped them find another pop-up space at Bramalea City Centre—and we're excited to see what comes next!
